Within the framework of the Tugan elge Tagzym project, students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Petropavlovsk visited Zhambyl district.
Many great sons of the Kazakh nadod were born on this sacred land. Students of the school visited the monument and museum of one of them – Kozhabergen zhyrau. The Museum of the great commander and historical personality was opened in Presnovskaya Secondary School in 2010. It contains extensive information about our countryman, who was the chief adviser and chief commander of Tauke Khan. He spent more than 60 years of his life fighting for the well-being of his country, fighting the Dzungars and defending our homeland. Students of shanyrak “Urpak” and representatives of school self-government were also able to get acquainted with the history of the region, the way of life and traditions of the Kazakh people.
It is worth noting that within the framework of the Tugan elge Tagzym expedition, schoolchildren can get acquainted with the rich history and today’s life of our region. Then the guys will go to the districts of Magzhan Zhumabayev and Ayyrtau. In addition, they will visit a unique educational institution of the region – Kozybayev University, get acquainted with the capabilities of the local university.
