Preparation for CIS reaccreditation has begun at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Petropavlovsk

The school received the CIS accreditation certificate in 2019. In the next academic year, the Petropavlovsk NIS must confirm compliance with high standards of education.
The first stage of reaccreditation is scheduled for the beginning of the next academic year. Already in October, a representative of the CIS Council of International Schools is expected at the educational institution with a preliminary visit.
Active preparations for this visit are taking place these days. The school staff discussed important points in the development of the Petropavlovsk NIS. The teachers made a SWOT analysis and considered the main factors for developing a new mission and vision of the school.It should be noted that the Council of International Schools (CIS) is one of the world’s well–known organizations, which was created to promote the highest standards and the latest achievements in the field of education. The reaccreditation work will be carried out in 3 stages – a preliminary visit of CIS representatives, which will result in recommendations, self-assessment and a final visit. The final visit to the school is scheduled for September 2025, after which a decision on international reaccreditation will be made.Schools from all countries that demonstrate high standards of educational quality receive international accreditation.
