During the winter school holidays, 6th grade students of city schools underwent short-term training at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Petropavlovsk.
Since October 11th, 2021, registration of participants of the virtual school has been carried out on the website of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School. Students of the city who registered in the virtual school were trained in the subjects “Mathematics”, “Natural Science”, “Kazakh language”, “Russian language”, “English language” and completed assignments based on the passed material. Then the children took part in the final testing. They could perform all tasks at a convenient time online. After that, the students who scored 50% of the total score on the final testing were invited to the Nazarbayev Intellectual in Petropavlovsk for a short-term training during the winter holidays. In 4 days, the teachers managed to purposefully work out certain skills that are necessary for passing the competitive selection.
– I passed trial tests and of course there were difficulties in solving some problems. Here, during a vacation school, I learned to identify different types of tasks, to solve them. There are tactics here, which were explained to us. This school helped me with the preparation, – a student of the 6th grade of one of the city schools, Mansur Umarov, shared.
Participation in virtual and vacation schools gives students the opportunity to prepare for free for the competitive selection to study in the 7th grade at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School.
