The regional stage of the network basketball Spartakiad among five Nazarbayev Intellectual schools has ended.
NIS GymsTurkestan has become a platform for hot games, great achievements and real victories. In the battle for prizes, the teams of boys and girls of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Petropavlovsk demonstrated all their sports skills and the will to win.
The boys’ team gave their fans an amazing game and deservedly won the second place. Despite the worthy competition, they showed their skills and excellent teamwork, losing only to the team from Atyrau.
The most difficult game for our team was a duel with a team from Pavlodar. We were fighting for the second place. This duel required not only skill and technique, but also endurance, strategy and perseverance,” said the captain of the boys’ team Tamerlan Khairullin.
But the team of girls of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Petropavlovsk paved the way to an absolute victory, having no equal. Their game, strategy and ability to work in a team brought the team a well-deserved first place.
We became the best among the five schools. I think these games are an opportunity for us to grow and demonstrate our skills. Now we will prepare for the next stage, – the captain of the girls’ team Akbota Koshkinbayeva shared.
