A pair billiards tournament was held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Petropavlovsk, bringing together students and their parents.
Such an exciting competition takes place at the school every year. This year, 23 teams consisting of schoolchildren and their parents took part in the traditional event. For them, it became not only a sports holiday, but also a wonderful opportunity for family time and strengthening the bond between parents and children, as well as the school.
The competitions were held according to the free pyramid system. The meetings of the teams were judged by judges of the international category. The peculiarity of the tournament is that not only boys and their fathers participate in it, but also representatives of the fair sex – school students and their mothers.
This year, 8th grade students and their parents showed an excellent game. So Miraskhan Barlubayev and his dad Akan Barlubayev became the best and took 1st place. Madi Marat and his dad Beybut Ayaganov took the second place. The team of Ernar and Baurzhan Mukhametgaliyev also entered the top three. Following the results of the tournament, the winners and prize-winners were awarded with cups and diplomas. Also, from the NGO “Ustazdar”, the director of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Petropavlovsk was presented with a letter of thanks for the development of sports and popularization of billiards among the younger generation.
