Within the framework of the implemenation of the “100 Kazakh Kuis” project a musical evening called “Melodies of Great Steppe” was held in Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Petropavlovsk.
The students had the opportunity to learn something new about the national musical instruments: dombyra, zhatygen and kobyz; become a part of rich world of Kazakh arts.
The guests of the event Beiymbet Kubaidolla, Altynzhan Taupykova, Yerkezhan Syzdykova, Ruslan Asylkhan shared their knowledge on the history of these musical instruments and showed their skills to the students.
The students used the opportunity in order to ask questions which were insteresting for them and received comprehensive answers. The evening was finished by taking photos.
