The annual competition of business projects among 11th grade students was held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Petropavlovsk.
The competition is held in order to develop creative activity among students and a creative approach to solving issues of an applied nature. This year, the children presented 12 amazing projects, each of which represented a kind of innovation. Among the ideas presented were projects such as nitrous oxide sedation, a back retainer for posture formation, a smart pillbox “zCase”, a “CRONG” system for sorting garbage, an SSB safety ring, HCTank — a container for heating and cooling, as well as many other important projects.
— During the project defense, students had the opportunity to communicate with professionals and answer their questions that related to the essential aspects of their projects. The level of the competition was high and each project was distinguished by interest and originality. The jury members noted the excellent financial calculations presented by the participants, — said Gulzai Abdulova, Economics teacher of the University of Petropavlovsk, PhD in Economics.
Also, for each project, the students carefully considered the choice of the tax regime and offered reasonable arguments. This proves their serious attitude to their projects and deep understanding of business principles.
The jury consisted of Deputy Director of the Russian Federation of JSC “Entrepreneurship Development Fund “Damu” for North Kazakhstan Region Arman Menzhesarov, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics and Accounting Oksana Kopylova, PhD, Director of the Department of Academic Activities of the North Kazakhstan University Mayra Valieva. According to the results of the competition, the first place was deservedly taken by Janel Iskakova and Aisha Kairgeldina with a nitrous oxide sedation project.
