A parent-teacher meeting

A parent-teacher meeting was held in the NIS of Petropavlovsk

Parents of 7th grade students visited the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Petropavlovsk. This is their first parent-teacher meeting within the walls of NIS.

This year, 104 Orken grant holders joined the number of students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Petropavlovsk. If the students have already settled into the new school, then this meeting was a good reason for parents to get acquainted with the new place of study of children. The meeting began with an interesting exhibition, where laboratory devices, robot machines and handicrafts created by students of the school were presented to the guests. This exhibition gave parents the opportunity to see a small part of the wide range of activities that students are engaged in at school.In the assembly hall, parents were greeted by the school’s director Daniyar Ualiyev and deputy directors. The parents’ meeting was organized in the TED Talks format, which allowed to dive deeper into the topic of education and development of children at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School. Within the framework of the meeting, an analysis of the students’ entrance results was carried out and possible risks and prospects were discussed.Special attention was paid to the issues of education and values. Parents were reminded of the importance of the joint work of the school and parents in the formation of the personality of each child and the development of his potential.High school students shared their impressions and achievements. They gave parents valuable advice and inspired elementary school students to new achievements.
At the concert, 8th grade students presented their results for the year. This is a wonderful way to demonstrate what achievements the students of the school can boast of in just a year.
At the end of the TED talks, the parents’ meeting continued in the classrooms, where important aspects of studying at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Petropavlovsk were discussed. Parents had the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about how their children’s education and upbringing will be organized.
