The German Institute of Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance (ACQUIN) has confirmed the high standards of the AEO “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools” and the professional achievements of the Center for Pedagogical Excellence.

Yasmin Rudolph, Head of the Program and Institutional Accreditations Department at ACQUIN, emphasized that NIS successfully integrates Kazakhstan into the global educational space. The coordinator of the accreditation department of ACQUIN Yulia Balakshy stated that the experts of ACQUIN from Switzerland and Germany, who worked on certification, are ready to implement successful solutions of the professional team of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools in their educational systems.
– The Center of Pedagogical Excellence was the first in the domestic system of additional professional education to present author’s programs for external expertise. ACQUIN stressed that all CPM programs have been awarded unconditional certification from the first time,” said Zhanbota Kabdykarimova, Director of the Center for Pedagogical Excellence.

The new recognition continued a large series of landmark accreditations that the CPM has been undergoing for three years at a prestigious European agency.

The German Institute of Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance has previously accredited ten programs developed by the Center for Pedagogical Excellence. All of them are dedicated to teacher leadership, effective teaching and other relevant priorities in modern education. These are thematic programs for school top management, mathematics teachers and psychologists, as well as for teachers of universities, colleges and preschool organizations, including the popular course “Research in teacher practice”. All professional development programs for teachers are successfully operating in the country today.

– Mandatory standards of external evaluation include compliance with the quality policy, transparent and standardized procedures in the development and approval of programs, a high level of teaching and evaluation, absolute professionalism of the coaching staff, stable resource base, system monitoring, – said project manager of the “School Team” Aisha Sadykova.
