– We came to the competition with good preparation. Kokshetau was the strongest among the teams. We met with this team both in the qualifying round and in the final game. I think, thanks to the team’s cohesion, we won, said the player of the international school of Nur-Sultan Myrzagali Alishev.
Also on the first day of the Spartakiad, the teams demonstrated their skills in board games such as chess, togyzkumalak and tennis. Each team in these games was represented by one woman and one man. A number of players took part in several sports at once, showing their versatility.
– In this Spartakiad I participate in togyzkumalak and volleyball. I’ve been playing togyzkumalak since I was a student. Now I am instilling interest in this game in my children. I want to note the skill of some of the rivals. But as an experienced player, I immediately notice the capabilities of the players and accordingly choose the appropriate tactics, – said Elena Bratko, teacher of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Kokshetau.
But in the competitions in this sport, the champions were the players from Petropavlovsk – Daniyar Ualiev and debutant Sandygul Tashetova. And in a chess match, a player of the Ural national team completed all his meetings with a victory.
– I constantly take part in competitions. I defend the honor of our school and become a prize-winner at all Spartakiads among employees. This time I also managed to show my many years of skill. I think we will also show good results in other sports,” says Kanat Bisekov, a physics teacher.
Representatives of the mass media of the region, who received a special invitation to the Spartakiad, also measured their strength and dexterity. However, teachers from different regions did not allow journalists to get among the winners. The pen holders also took part in the mini-football competitions organized on the second day of the Spartakiad. In this game, after a tough selection, the teams of Uralsk, Karaganda, Kokshetau and Nur-Sultan entered the final stage. In football, the capital’s team became the best, and the second place was taken by Western players. The three leaders included Kokshetau residents.
– In the final games we met with the Karaganda national team and won. Among all, I will note Nur-Sultan’s team as the strongest. I would like to express my gratitude to the Petropavlovsk NIS for the good organization of the sports contest. Such events are of great importance for the team. Because we are learning new things here and strengthening our interaction. This Spartakiad was a good end to the school year, – shared the teacher of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Kokshetau Zhaslan Makhmetov.
