100 books by a student of Nazarbayev Intellectual School
The project “100 books recommended for reading by students of Intellectual schools” is aimed at supporting trilingual education, studying the history, culture of their people and fostering tolerance to another culture through reading literature in Kazakh, Russian and English.
The purpose of the project is to instill a love for books, reading through a variety of activities. Within the framework of the initiative of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, a list of 100 books recommended for reading by students of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools has been prepared, which includes 60 famous works of Kazakh classics and 40 masterpieces of world literature.
As part of the project, audio anthologies and electronic versions of books will be specially prepared. Students will prepare their drawings and illustrations based on the works they have read. Some short stories will be voiced by the guys themselves, then electronic and audio books will be placed in free access to the site www.iKitap.kz . Each work will be read in the original language. As part of the “100 Books” project, students master the “iBooks Author” program and learn to create e-books on their own.
