Orientation for schoolchildren

An orientation week for 7th grade students is being held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemistry and Biology in Petropavlovsk. This year, 120 children joined the ranks of NIS students.
Students from educational institutions of the city and the region, as well as from other regions of our country, entered the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Petropavlovsk. For the convenience of children and to familiarize them with the new school, an orientation week for 7th grade students began on August 22.
– During the orientation week, we organize sessions where students will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the peculiarities of the educational and educational process of the school, teachers and classmates, resources for learning. We will also hold a number of meetings for children with members of the student self–government, teachers of additional education,” said Deputy Director Saulet Mukanova.

On the first day, the students of each class got to know each other through interactive games. They also had a full tour of the school. The children learned about the history and traditions of a unique educational institution. Also, the children participated in a single lesson “How is education organized in NIS? Evaluation in NIS”. In addition, the program included a quest game on NIS projects, a session “100 questions for a high school student” and a TEDx presentation by prize-winners of Olympiads and competitions of scientific projects. In addition, students undergo language training every day for two hours.
