The head of the education department of the North Kazakhstan region, Nazir Zhashibekov, got acquainted with the work of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemistry and Biology in Petropavlovsk.
The students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School introduced the head of the regional education department to their native school, and conducted a tour of the main blocks. The children also told the guest about the achievements of the NIS students. Nazir Zhashibekov got acquainted with the conditions created for children in the dormitory, the work of medical offices, creative classes, visited the gym and gyms.
Then the civil servant took part in the “Smart Thursday” project and answered the students’ questions. Students in grades 7-8 asked questions about the latest changes in the Kazakh education system, and future graduates were interested in universities. At the end of the meeting, Nazir Zhashibekov gave his students his advice and wished them excellent studies.
