A concert “We are a people with one destiny” was held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Petropavlovsk. The event was timed to May 1 – the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan.
The National Unity Day holiday has come to our country, to the cradle of the world, where different ethnicities and nationalities, friends and brothers have united. Today’s May Day celebration is the beginning of public and festive events that have been suspended. Therefore, the school staff widely and in all its glory celebrates the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan. The program included national dances, Kazakh kuis and a parade of national costumes of each ethnic group.
After that, the holiday moved to the sports ground, where the students took part in the Kazakh national games – assik ata, wrestling, tug of war. Everyone took part in the competitions and tested their strength.
Also, as part of the festive event, representatives of 12 shanyraks of the school arranged a baursak toy. Each shanyrak fried baursaks in the open air and invited all the guests to join in their celebration.
