About 70 NIS graduates have returned to their native school

The traditional Samgau Alumni Forum was held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Petropavlovsk. The event was attended by about 70 NIS graduates from different years. Today’s students of prestigious universities shared with schoolchildren useful information on admission to universities.
It has become a good tradition for NIS graduates to meet within the walls of their native school during the winter holidays. So this year, about 70 students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Petropavlovsk returned to their native penates. The headmaster of the school, Daniyar Ualiyev, welcomed his former wards.
— We are very glad that you found time to come to your native school today. I think school has become a good trigger and starting point in your success. We always tell you that the future of our country is in your hands. NIS schools were created to promote the development of science in our country. Therefore, continue your journey, develop, create and support the younger generation in their endeavors, share your experience,” said Daniyar Ualiyev, Director of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School.Alumni Forum was supported by Alumni NIS Alumni Association. The organization uniting NIS students of all schools also held the NIS Challenge, launched the Talim mentoring program, Beles and Ayaldama projects. At the meeting, Alumni NIS Ambassador Meruert Yerlesh spoke about the main directions of the association’s work.Today, NIS graduates study in more than 20 countries around the world. This year, someone was lucky enough to meet with the President of the country and discuss the prospects for the development of the IT industry, others acted as coaches of the national robotics team at the WRO in Germany, and graduates also received invitations to work in top global companies such as Meta, Booking, Amazon, Google, Big4.
After the greeting and interactivity, graduates of the school studying at prestigious universities of the world shared with high school students about admission to the best universities in the world. Especially for this purpose, the school organized 5 sections of master classes in various areas. More than 130 high school students took part in them.
